Over spring break we took a little overnight excursion to Portland. We walked in the rain... and walked in the rain... and oh, did I mention... walked in the rain? We went to the Grotto (Catholic Gardens)-- hey... it was raining, and up and down the streets of downtown Portland. We enjoyed Powells Books and all sorts of shops. I touched a pair of Swarotzki embedded Armani shoes. Worth more than a used car. We had a good time. Oh.. and it rained.

I am so glad you got a chance to get away, even in the rain. I am also glad you are on the final leg of the school year. Hang in there it really is just about there.
