"POP"

.... was the sound of Leo's ankle as he went down in PE playing soccer with his students. It was the same ankle he hurt about six years ago. It's all swollen and bruised now. He's currently wearing an air cast and on crutches. I got to wheel him around in a wheelchair today. (And ram him into walls... sorry honey!) So he's got a possible broken toe on one foot from last week, and a possible popped ligament on the other. He also announced that his throat feels sore. I told him I should just take him out back and shoot him now to put him out of his misery. We hoped to get our dishwasher delivered today, but no such luck. Installing a dishwasher on crutches could be exciting... or maybe I'll give it a whirl. We'll know it ten days if his ankle will need surgery.
