Tuesday I did power program with my students and we finished up some of the mosaics. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures. Something else was going on on Tuesday but my brain is totally blitzing it.
Wednesday I got prepared for the court case on Friday (for my yellow light run through... I'll talk more about that experience later.)
Thursday Leo had a basketball game with the kids. They lost, but did awesome! They only had 6 guys and the other team had 9 or 10 and they were only twelve points off. Hopefully next time! GO MVCA! :) I also went to the church and helped set up for the Boutique.
Friday, I went to school for my first three class, built a powerpoint presentation for my last period class, and then high tailed out of there to go to my court case. I'll talk about that in my next blog. After I went to the case, I helped at the church for the Boutique and Candlelight Dessert at church. This is a HUGE event. About 300-400 women show up. Our Boutique is a happening place Friday night. Within an hour and a half we probably sold 1,000 items. It's a little crazy!
Saturday was the Boutique again (still brought in a lot of people) and then (after picking up) went to our friends Billy and Nates for a cookie decorating party. We ate the rest, but Leo said I had to take some pictures of these ones before we ate them.
My favorite cookie this year. Last year it was the giraffe (very disappointed that the giraffe didn't make the cut this year... just teasing Billy!...).
This was me getting bored with the stockings... so I turned it upside down and decorated it. It wasn't until after this that Billy pulled out the "secret stash" and I got to decorate the other house.
Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree....
This was Leo's serious attempt to decorating the cookies. The others he just blobbed massive amount of frosting on top and ate it immediately afterwards.
Today was church and then we decided to decorate minimally this year because we are going to Washington DC and to my brother-in-law and sister-in-laws house for Christmas. No Christmas tree this year! Leo said it was the most un-stressful decorated year as of yet!
