Airport Park

The same day we met up with our good friends from Singapore we went to a WWII bi-plane and antique car show at our very own Airport Park here in Independence. We got up early, and biked our way across town to enjoy this (free-yah) event! Here are a few pictures:





My dad seriously considered purchasing one of these home build death traps at one point.

Instead he is building a Vans Aircraft RV7A just like this one. I wasn't too impressed with the paint job of this one, but couldn't pass up a picture in front of it.



They had bi-plane rides going on, but Leo and I decided we wanted our first private flight to be with my daddy in his airplane.
