On our way home (about the half way point) we stopped off in Hermiston Oregon to visit some friends of ours. Unfortunately Candice (our friend) just had surgery on her arm and was in a lot of pain and was kinda' drugged during our stay. We enjoyed hanging out with Candice and Terri, their kids Anne and Jeremy, baby Evie, Jeremy's friend Ray, and the slew of dogs we all owned. It was interesting to see the eastern side of Oregon. I must say there is a whole lot of nothing out on this side of the state. It's funny how one can find beauty in most anywhere though. Not the place I would like to live, but these two families have found good homes, and live close and are very happy, so I am glad for them and their new adventures! God will use them there and that is very exciting to me!
