Today we have a good friend of ours birthday party to go to. Should be pretty funny. A long time ago we were all playing a card game together that involved slapping our hands down on the table. Nate, our friend, is a big guy... he could be pretty intimidating, but he's just a big teddy bear inside. Anyways, we were all terrified to have our hands smashed, and the running joke of him having big hands began. It has now morphed into a super hero power that's both a gift and a curse. Every time we all get together there is at least one comment on some great or disastrous use of the big hands. We have a few gag gifts for our party. They include (pictures above): A superfinger bar, super hero grip gloves, jumbo hand washing soap, and the picture of "Big Hand Man" is something I designed for a tee-shirt for Nate. We will be arriving wearing foam fingers, and I wanted to come dressed as a palm reader, but I guess that was a little over the top. We are excited to celebrate our friends birthday today. :)
