I bought a dresser on Craigslist, painting it up and then... we realized it didn't fit in the closet unless we took off the doors. So, we took off the doors and I spruced it up for little Ruth~Ann. We put some lights under the curtain which makes a nice soft glow in the room. It will be nice for late night changing. I think the dresser turned out pretty cute too.

Too cute!!! Ruthie will love her room for years to come. What a wonderful room to snuggle together and read a book or play with blocks or listen to a tape. Did your little cassette tape player survive and make it in the chest with your tapes and books? You use to love to listen to tapes when you played and at bedtime when I wouldn't read anymore books. I sure loved being your mom, both then and now. I am more happy for you then word can say!

I was just mentioning today to Leo that we need to get the chest from up in the attack. All those tapes and books and some of my clothing are up in it. I think there is also a loom in it if I remember correctly. I was thinking of putting some of my dresses in it and returning it to the attack. I remember bus drivers hating me when I got on those buses for school field trips and suggesting putting those books on tape it. haha. We'll see if I can find a tape player that works. Too bad I can't transfer them onto cd somehow.
