Last week we went to Georgies Clay up in Portland. They had some neat yard totem poles (at least that's what I'm calling them). I came home and pulled out a bin of things I didn't like and was going to get rid of. We painted them up and drilled holes in it (thank you mom and dad). Today I finished up the first pole and pounded it into the ground. I think it's kinda' fun. Hopefully the neighbors will like it too. It makes me think of Disneyland.

This turned out really nice. I love the bright colors. Now you will have many lookylous as they pass by. You should have a handfull of your business cards by the front door to hand out to people as they inquire about where you got it. You might get some lesson business! That would be great. You might even make a few more to rotate out so that passerby's are enticed to finally stop and ask. Free advertizing sort of.

I think your totem is QUITE lovely, and if I were your neighbor, I'd be over begging for one for me!
sooo cute! What a great way to 'upcycle' your goodies!
