The glare is bad, but I did a little beading lately. Actually it started a while ago.... I made the pendent from ceramic and finally got around to making a necklace. I thought it turned out pretty nice. I've had a few requests to sell them now. I might go down to a local store and see if I can.

This is very beautiful! I was watching my beading show on PBS a couple of weeks ago and they interviewed a lady that sells bead work to find out how she prices. Here is the formula that she said is the standard pricing rule. Take the cost of the materials used plus the time taken it make the piece at the rate of $20.00 per hour, then times it by 3 to get what you should charge for a piece. So say a piece cost you $5.00 to make in 15 minutes ($5.00 at $20.00 an hour) thats $10.00 X 3for a sale price of $30.00 for the piece. That said I would price this piece shown at $40.00 to $45.00. Am I close to the formula? You dhould try a easter/mother's day table in the teachers lounge if it is still allowed. Remember to put out a stack of cards for people to take.
