My friend Odessa has been coming over and throwing on the wheel. I taught her a few weeks ago and she was "great right off the bat" (I said that accidentally when she was here and only realized the pun after she had pointed it out). (For those of you who don't know anything about throwing on the wheel... the plate you attach to your wheel and actually throw off of is called a bat.) She has been coming over and throwing all sorts of great things and I've been making other hand built items for Boutique sales and more. Now if only the studio wasn't so COLD!!!!!! Someday I'll have a studio with heat, space, and ambiance!
