CHINA

My father-in-law, and his lovely bride Brigid went to China over Christmas. Brigid is from Hong Kong and they went to visit her family. During Thanksgiving Big Leonard and Brigid came for a surprise visit and I got to spend some wonderful time just getting to know Brigid better. She is a wonderful woman with such a great heart for people and Jesus. Before they left we got an opportunity to go out into the garage/studio (studio sounds so much more official than garage!) and talk while I made coasters and my mom and Brigid did the grueling task of sanding bisqueware. (Thanks!) Before Brigid left she asked me if I would like some stamps from China for my pottery. I enthusiastically said YES! She asked if I wanted them to look for anything else while they were there. Normally I would have been a bit more bashful about it, but I couldn't resist. I have ALWAYS wanted to go to China, and always oogle over their architecture as well as the delicate and refined things I associate with China. I asked if she could look for a little teapot. I LOVE teapots. After they returned I got these in the mail and was OVERJOYED! Alas, I don't know what the stamps say....or even which was is up. So I've posted them on here in hopes that Brigid could identify what they say and if I need to rotate them. I would hate to stamp it into a piece of pottery upside-down!

Thanks Leonard and Brigid. It means so much to me!
