Today we went to the coast as a celebration to Leo's Birthday as well as being done with camp. It was a beautiful day, perfect weather for walking along the beach picking up colored rocks and watching the dogs run up and down the beach... and in the water.... and after a small dog attached to a not so happy old lady wearing a really big sun hat. We also saw a baby seal up on the beach as it scurried back to the water. We ate at Mo's (best clam chowder EVER) and watched seals play from the window. It was truly a wonderful day.

Leo and I decided to play a little scavenger game with each other as we do our little travels. Since we don't have the money to buy things, we thought it would be fun to make things. This summer as we go around Salem, or most likely Monmouth, and on our trips we are going to find letters that portray the area and a felt mood. We decided LOVE for today, 1. because we love each other & 2. because of the depth of God's love for us (deeper than the ocean). Call it cheezy.... but it was fun to search for things that happened naturally like this.
