A Day at the Beach

After graduation we brought Aunt Sharon back to our place and had the pleasure of having her here for a day.  We wish it could have been longer, but were thankful for the time.  Being that we live and hour and a half from the Oregon Coast I took her out for an adventure at the beach. We both like to shell search, so we scoured the shoreline and found very little shell wise.  We DID however find many interesting rocks, and a few agates.  I'm holding a bag with all our treasures in the picture below.  We also picked up some interesting things for her to take back to her daycare kids.  It was lots of fun.

We headed out to Lincoln City, ate at a restaurant called Moe's (where we got to watch seals play in the water right next to us), and headed down the coast to Depoe Bay.  We checked out the spectacular view, visited some tourist shops, and just had an overall great day with each other.  We were sad to send her home.
I think this is just before our dogs, mindlessly busy running after each other, slammed into Sharon's legs.  Thank goodness she's not any taller or they would have taken out her knees.  It didn't topple her over, but I was sure scared by it!
It was pretty foggy, but we still had some pretty nice views.
