Well, I actually did a series of four lighthouses, but now that I am looking through the pictures, I'm finding that I didn't take any pictures of the last of the series.  They are currently hanging in our old church in Salem.  The bummer thing about them is that not a week had they been up when somebody from the other church that shared our church (teens) took a sharpie marker and drew little stick figures on them.  One stick figure was commiting suicide, one drinking beer, you get the idea.  At first it kinda' hurt my feelings cause I put an aweful lot of work into them and they are really big pieces, and then I realized that that is the life of an artist on commission.  What happens to your art after you give it away or sell it, is not your business.  Then I was just mad that somebody would defile anything in the church.  Not sure why some people think it's okay to destroy things in the facilities that God's people work so hard to keep up and give to His services.  Grrr.  Anyways, they're done in acrylic.  I hope nobody thinks I'm trying to be a show off.  It would just be nice personally to have a record of the pieces I've done rather than having them shoved under our guest room bed.  Eventually it might be nice to pull them out and post them all to an official art site.  Hmmm.... I'll put that at the bottom of my VERY LONG list of things to do.

I do love those paintings; they're great. I didn't see any of the stick figures when I saw them. Maybe I wasn't looking close enough.
